【武庫川女子大学】＜三井住友信託銀行×武庫川女子大学経営学部＞インターンプログラムを実施しました

本学経営学部生向けの＜三井住友信託銀行×武庫川女子大学経営学部＞特別イベント「仕事体感＆Woman’s Career Session」を、12月6日に三井住友信託銀行住友ビル11階 大会議室で実施しました。本学のグリッドナビ（Grit Navi：経営学部教員が運営する全学的な就活支援学内サークル）のプログラムとして、三井住友信託銀行とグリットナビ担当教員（杉井 俊介講師,黄 テイテイ講師、藤井 善仁助教）・キャリア支援担当教員（高(正しくは「ハシゴ高」)橋 千枝子教授）との共同開催が実現しました。

当日は、三井住友信託銀行大阪本店の社員の方7人と、経営学部教員4人、学生53人が参加しました。三井住友信託銀行の業務説明、個人トータルソリューション事業の仕事体感のワークショップが行われた後、グループに分かれて社員の方と学生の座談会を持ちました。

学生たちは「これまで金融業界に対して真面目で堅苦しい職業というイメージを持っていたのですが、長い時間お客様と関わるなかでできた信頼関係があったり、さまざまなことに挑戦できる環境があったりするというお話を聴けて、イメージが変わり、人同士の関係を大切にするあたたかい職業であることを知りました。実際に働いている方の話を聴けてよかったです」「グループワークを行うことで、自分の改善点を見つけることができました。また、 社員の方と交流することができ、就職に対する不安を少し払拭することができました」「武庫川女子大学を卒業された社員の方に直接お話を伺い、最近入社された方にもお話を伺えて就活や今後のワークライフについて近い距離で話せてとても充実した2時間でした。 実際の就活について何も知らない状態だったので、これからこう動いていこうという見通しが少したてられたので本当に良かったです」と手ごたえを話しています。

三井住友信託銀行の当プログラム担当者からは「皆様のグループワークに向かう懸命さ、社員座談会での積極的なご質問等、終始真摯な取組み姿勢が感じられました。今後のキャリアに向け有意義なものとなれば幸甚です。学生の今しか出来ないことに一生懸命取組むことが未来に繋がります」とコメントをいただきました。

On December 6th, “Work Experience & Women’s Career Session” was hosted by Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank for the students of Mukogawa Women’s University.

Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank and faculty members from Grit Navi Group came together to join forces to co-host the event that is aimed to support students in their battle to job hunt.

Here’s a list of people that participated on the day of; 7 members of staff from Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank Osaka branch, 4 faculty members from the Business Administration team and grand total of 53 students from Mukogawa Women’s University. It kicked off with a presentation by the staff of Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, followed by a workshop and a discussion meeting in small groups.  

One student commented “until now, the impression I had of the finance industry was a formal and a rigid one. It changed when I had the opportunity to talk and interact with customers and realized that it was a profession that values and respect building relationships. I appreciate being given the chance to hear stories from the people who are actually active in the field.”

The manager of corporate business department at Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank Osaka added “It was good to see everyone working hard in their groups and asking questions at the Q&A. We hope that this event will be meaningful for the students and their futures. There are some things you can only experience whilst you are still in school and it should lead you on a path to further your career.”
