【武庫川女子大学】大学院 景観建築学専攻生が、「たかしま空き家Life Designコンペ」で特別賞を受賞しました

7 Graduate school students of Landscape Architecture received an award in an architectural competition.

第2回 学生による「たかしま空き家Life Designコンペ」で、本学大学院建築学研究科 景観建築学専攻1年の7人(共同出品)が特別賞を受賞しました。

このコンペは、コロナ禍でテレワークが進み、若い世代の地方暮らしへの関心が高まる中、豊かな自然に恵まれ、暮らしやすい高島市の魅力を知ってもらおうと、滋賀県高島市が募集し、24団体（個人含む）がエントリー。学生ならではの視点で空き家の良さをとらえ、子育て世帯が空き家（高島市）に住んでみたいと思えるような空間デザインを競いました。

受賞したのは景観建築専攻1年、井上栞さん、岸亜弥音さん、岸音葉さん、木下一花さん、日下雛子さん、久保瑞季さん、森暉理さんの7人。共同して設計・提案に取り組み、「まねかれ、まねく-移住の環をうみだす住まい-」と題し、高島市の未来を見据えた景観建築デザインを提案しました。一次審査で6団体が選出され、高島市長も審査員として参加した最終プレゼンテーション審査の結果、最優秀賞(大阪市立大学大学院）、優秀賞（東京大学大学院）、特別賞が決まりました。

久保瑞季さんは「チームで支えあいながら取り組んだ作品が高く評価されてうれしいです。地方移住のハードルの高さを課題ととらえ、移住者が人間関係をゆるやかに構築できる時間軸を住宅構成に取り込み、近隣地域も含んだ大きいスケールの提案を行いました。木造の基本的な知識や場所性を大切にするまちづくりなど、日ごろの学びを活かせたと思います」と話しています。

Seven students all in their first year of university, received a special prize at the “Takashima Unoccupied House Life Design Competition”. The special award is a feat next to the highest award, which saw a student from Osaka University Graduate School, and the award for excellence that went to a student from University of Tokyo.

This competition is being presented by Takashima City, Shiga Prefecture, to let people know the charm of Takashima City, which is blessed with abundant nature and suited for people to live in who wishes to telework during this pandemic. The city is appealing to even the interest of younger generation as the attractiveness of rural life increases.

The students demonstrated their perspectives of the benefits and the advantages of living in an abandoned homes. 14 groups applied and competed for a design that would make households with children want to live in. the seven students who received the award were Shiori Inoue, Ayane Kishi, Otoha Kishi, Ichika Kinoshita, Hinako Kusaka, Mizuki Kubo and Hikari Mori. They worked together on the design and proposal of a landscape design with an eye on the future of Takashima city, under the title of “imitation, imitation ? a home that creates a circle of migration.

At the final presentation, the mayor of Takashima city joined in as one of the judges, helping to distribute the awards.

Ms. Mizuki Kubo commented “I’m honored to be rated so highly for the work we did as a team. From learning about the challenges of living in a rural areas, and the need for the residents to have the space to build relationships, we were able to make such a grand proposal based on the said above. I’m happy that I was able to apply my knowledge on areas such as town development that values basic knowledge and wooden structures.”
