【武庫川女子大学】建築学科2年の安黒万里さんが第1回近畿学生住宅大賞で企業賞に選ばれました

近畿建築士会協議会が主催する「第1回近畿学生住宅大賞」で、建築学部建築学科2年、安黒万里さんの応募作品「Under the roof」が企業賞に選ばれました。

「近畿学生住宅大賞」は近畿圏内の建築系大学、高専、専門学校に在籍する学生（院生はのぞく）が、授業で取り組んだ住宅課題を対象としたコンペティションです。一戸建てから集合住宅、リノベーションまで、建築士を目指す学生たちが日ごろの課題に込めたアイデアを競い、審査を通過した上位20作品について、公開プレゼンテーション等を経て最優秀賞、優秀賞、奨励賞などを決定。また、全応募作品を対象に協賛企業が企業賞を選出しました。

安黒さんの作品は企業賞を受賞。最終審査及び表彰式は11月27日に行われ、安黒さんは作品を会場に展示するとともに、表彰式にのぞみました。

受賞作「Under the roof」は、ともに働く夫婦が暮らす一戸建て住宅を想定。コロナ禍で在宅ワークが増えたことから、仕事とプライベートの程よい距離感が保てるよう、部屋の配置や屋根の高さに変化をつけました。安黒さんは「コロナ禍においての心地良い暮らし方を考え、設計しました。学外で作品が評価される機会に恵まれ、感謝しています。今後も時代の流れに沿った暮らし方について考えていきたいと思います」と話しています。

 At the very first Kinki Student Housing Award to have ever been hosted, Mari Aguro’s entry of “Under the Roof” was selected for a corporate award, sponsored by the Kinki Architects Association. Ms. Aguro who is in her second year at the Department of Architecture, competed in an event that is a platform for students of architecture to demonstrate their work on housing issues.

From single-parent homes to apartments and renovations, students aiming to become architects competed for ideas that they worked hard in. for the top 20 designs that passed the first screening, the achievement awards were decided after each presentation. The businesses that were the sponsors were in charge of selecting the corporate award.

Ms. Aguro’s work won the corporate award. The award ceremony was held on November 27th which saw pieces of work being exhibited at the venue including Ms. Aguro’s.

The award-winning work by MWU’s Ms. Aguro, “Under the Roof” represents a home of a married working couple living in a detached house. The work replicates a home that is best accommodated for remote-work that enables residents to maintain a reasonable sense of distance between work and private life by making it spacious and adjusting the height of the roofing. . Ms. Aguro noted “I designed my work so that people living in it can live comfortably even during this difficult time with Covid-19. I am grateful for the opportunity to have my work evaluated by people outside of the academic field. I would like to carry on making designs that are applicable to the modern era.”
